This week, Bob and Marcel interviewed Jessica and Josh of the amazing LEGAL GEEKS website! Jessica and Josh are both real life practicing lawyers and giant supergeeks with many, many passions. We cover a lot of ground, including (but not limited to) Star Trek, Doctor Who, and just about everything in between. Josh and Jessica discuss how they met, the origins of their geekery, many geek anecdotes, whether their blog/podcast/blogcast has ever bled into their real life trials (literally and figuratively), and more!!

Also, bow ties are cool.

This is a marathon of a podcast and we had an amazing time doing it. This is definitely one of the most fun interviews we’ve ever done and Josh and Jessica’s work at The Legal Geeks is something that can’t be found anywhere else. If the idea of lawyers in love with pop culture intrigues you, as it should, check out their site for hours and hours of great content.

This week, Bob and Marcel discuss Game of Thrones! Hooray!

Bob and Marcel were lucky enough to attend an early screening of the Game of Thrones premiere, Valar Dohaeris (say that three times fast), and here they discuss the show and the event. What do they think of Ommegang’s Iron Throne beer? How awesome was the screening? Bob and Marcel are extremely thankful to HBO, MovieCentral, Cineplex, Pacifico Pizza, and all those involved in putting this together!

And: Without spoiling too hard, how was the premiere? If you want to go in blind to the season (as you should), please wait until after the show has premiered on March 31st. If you want to hear two esoteric and honest reactions to the premiere and attempts not to spoil too heavily, check this out, but, we do discuss the structure and tone of the episode probably enough for you to suss out a vague idea of what to expect, and we are sorry. Also: There are spoilers for seasons one and two, so if you are new entirely to Game of Thrones, this is probably not the show for you. Terry Pratchett, we are aware that you are not Terry Pritchett, and also that you are awesome.
