In the first of a series of interviews showcasing super awesome people, Bob and Marcel welcome Robin Pierson of TheTVCritic.org and pick his brain about TV shows past and present. He is an ideal first guest, as he has many shows in common with Bob and Marcel. They discuss his site’s history and purpose, the difference between American and British TV, and dozens of TV shows, including but not limited to: American Horror Story, Angel, Breaking Bad, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Deadwood, Dexter, Friends, Homeland, How I Met Your Mother, Lost, Louie, The Office, Prison Break, Rome, True Blood and The Walking Dead!

Warning: There are spoilers here and there for certain shows, so if you are not a gigantic TV fanatic, this interview may not be for you.

Robin was fantastic to chat with and we look forward to having him on again in the future!

Robin Pierson writes critical reviews of U.S. TV shows and analyse what makes them good, bad, irritating and enlightening.

He enjoys TV shows more than books, movies, sculptures, paintings, plays, operas and ballets. He’s aware that this is unusual! What makes things even stranger is how seriously he takes TV. In 2004 he began writing an episode guide for Friends in my spare time. When that was finished in 2007 he realized that this was what he wanted to do all the time.
